This 1956 MG MGA roadster has just surfaced from a private Dutch collection, and after all these years of experience, I can confidently say that this MGA is one of the best maintained examples I have ever come across.
Finished in a beautiful red 'orient' exterior with a black leather interior adorned with red piping, it is also one of the most attractive. This early model is in my opinion the very essence of the MGA in its purest and most desirable form. A true English roadster primarily designed for gentlemen drivers of renown. The MGA is a far cry from its 'TF' predecessor. In addition to a much sleeker body, the MGA features independent suspension and rack and pinion steering. The result was a roadster that exuded classic charm and superior handling unmatched by most of its competitors at the time. Our MGA underwent bodywork restoration once during its life, which still shows.
