The previous owner bought it in 2020 with a view to a complete renovation but didn't take care of it in the end. I acquired this vehicle in April 2022. The base was sound but I carried out a complete restoration for the pleasure of bringing out a vehicle fully restored collection with exclusively original Mercedes parts.
Exterior: The vehicle was stripped before restoration. The paintwork was completely redone in December 2023. All gaskets and rubber are new, as are the lights and indicator repeaters. The rims are in their original satisfactory condition. The crash parks and all metal parts have been sandblasted and painted in black epoxy. Interior: As the vehicle has been lowered, soundproofing has been fitted throughout the body. The floor carpet was replaced. The two front seats were completely reupholstered in the original fabric. Only the rear seat foam has been changed. The door panels are original and in very good condition. The hi-fi system has been wired up, with the radio and speakers still to be installed according to your requirements.
Mechanical: The vehicle is in excellent working order. The engine has been entrusted to a former Mercedes mechanic for a complete overhaul. All consumables and seals are new. Engine, gearbox, axle, cooling, brake and differential changed. New fuel pumps and piping. New windscreen washer unit.
Underbody : The vehicle has been stripped and sandblasted. An anti-rust and anti-gravel treatment has been carried out. The underbody is sound and free from corrosion. The two floorboards, one crossmember and the boot crossmember were replaced by a sheet metal worker.
