Description
In the 1920s, Bayerische Motoren Werke was forced to switch from aircraft engines to motorbikes - a masterstroke, as it soon turned out. This new segment offered BMW not only a way out, but also a lucrative venture. In 1983, BMW launched the K100, a powerhouse with the famous 'Flying Brick' engine. And now, at Cool Classic Club, we have a very special one: a fully customised scrambler. What makes this K100 so unique? The paintwork has been done by a professional workshop, and under the tank hides a completely overhauled 987cc four-cylinder engine, fitted with new fuel injectors for optimum performance. Only the highest quality components have been used, including: a YSS rear shock absorber, a completely refurbished front fork, Continental Twinduro tyres, Brembo brakes, and a powerful modified 4-1 exhaust with a dB-killer, without compromising the powerful sound. In addition, parts such as the water pump, radiator, seals, timing chain and hoses have been replaced to keep this 'Flying Brick' in top condition. Ready for new adventures? This unique K100 is registered in the Netherlands and ready to conquer the road!
