Description
This 1984 Porsche 911 Targa had been dry stored for some 20 years and was part of an extensive private collection of many classic cars. Having owned many of these fabulous cars it was apparent that this one had been well cared for and in full running use before being stored.
We have since acquisition undertaken a very sympathetic but comprehension recommissioning of this car, all of which has been documented. Accordingly this Porsche drives and presents exceptionally well. We have undertaken a full paintwork correction to the ruby red metallic paint and whilst in good condition and perfectly presentable it does have imperfections that the new owner can attend to at a later date.
The interior is in excellent throughout with only a minor split to the drivers seat, but the carpets, fabric and plastics are excellent. All the electrics are working with the exception of the heater blower due to the removal of the heater motor. The targa roof, its fitment and seals are also in excellent condition.
The car is structurally very good and has just passed its MoT, it’s first in 20 years with no advisories. Unfortunately over the years whilst in storage all the documentation has been misplaced or lost and therefore comes with no service history unfortunately like most barn finds. We do have a new V5 document showing 7 previous owners.
In summary this is a very presentable, mechanically excellent Porsche 911 Targa which are becoming highly desirable. We have priced this Porsche fairly to allow for future enhancements.
