Magnificent TR3 B the very last series 2 the most powerful! TCF chassis because equipped with the engine of the TR4 of 105 cv (to see in following the history of the model). limps synchro, brakes with discs, new additional ventilator, direction with rack, brain brake, long ranges and red rear fog lamp. Overdrive which gives it a 3 and a 4 reduction corresponding to a 6 speed gearbox. The car is sold with 2 soft tops: an original white one with matching sidescreen and a new black one also with matching sidescreen, tonneau cover, new battery, alternator, electronic ignition, twin cigar lighter sockets, battery switch, chromed spoke wheels, luggage rack, spoilers, the car is complete and equipped for long journeys. It has received more than €7000 worth of improvements since 2022 (invoices on request). It regularly drives on long motorway journeys without any overheating problems. It is fitted with the very rare option of a ventilated sports bonnet, which allows the hot air from the engine to escape easily.

But although Standard-Triumph stopped production of the TR3A in October 1961, following the launch of its replacement, the TR4, the sharp fall in sales forced it to restart TR3A production in March 1962! Many buyers did not like the TR4, which they considered too comfortable and modernised. The TR3A thus unofficially became the TR3B (an unofficial designation after the model) for an initial series of 500 (chassis number beginning with TSF). A second series of TR3Bs was produced until October 1962 (commission number beginning with TCF), while the TR4 had already been in production for 9 months. This Triumph TR3B Series 2, the ultimate evolution of the TR3, received the TR4's 2138 cm3 engine offering 105 bhp and a fully synchronised gearbox. Externally, however, there is no difference between the TR3A and TR3B.
