A rare and desirable Daimler 4. 2 Coupé, one of 1, 677 worldwide, which has been in a Collection since 1988
Powered by the 285bhp, XK-derived, 4. 2-litre, straight-six mated to a Borg-Warner 3-speed automatic
Finished in Old English White, it was subject to a total body-off restoration in the 1990s, however it has been in storage since and will now need further attention
At the same time, the car was retrimmed in black leather with matching black carpets
Apart from its V5, there is no paperwork with the car. Our vendor believes that this was the 1977 London Motor Show (Motorfair) car but this is not confirmed
