DS Break (officially ID 20 F) , 7 seats, leather interior - 1973: 1st registration - 1997: Complete restoration (a DS specialist in Prague for his brother in Germany) - In my possession since 2006.
- For a good ten years, it was the family car in Berlin (in the garage), however my need to drive has been clearly decreasing since then - 2022 Transfer to France / Provence - Extensive technical and bodywork refurbishment at Burel, DS specialist (Trets, Var, see also photos).
- 2023: Appraisal, registration and insurance as a classic car - 2025-02: Passage of the technical inspection, which runs for 5 years until 02-2030 The DS is not in perfect condition, but it is still usable on a daily basis without serious restrictions - with great pleasure for connoisseurs!
Known faults: - watch and radio without function - inaccurate fuel gauge - reverse gear sometimes jumps out (if the gear lever is not used correctly) - various noises - cracked leather seats at the front - a matter of taste, it may be possible to rectify them a little.... - after a certain period of immobilisation the battery needs to be bypassed (perhaps a problem with the electrical system which means that the battery is empty after a few days).
