Description
Here, in consignment, is this 1971 Citroën Dsuper (type ID20), showing 23, 500 miles on the odometer (five digits...). A family car that has benefited from work before and during its time in the workshop. MOT valid, historic vehicle status since
Nice restoration base for whoever wants one, very sound overall, although the boot floor could do with a refresh. Paint is as-is with a few defects, notably the bonnet, which, after replacement long ago, shows blistering. The wings and doors are in very good condition, as are the bumpers and the boot.
The interior is well preserved, the vinyl upholstery showing no wear or tears, the headlining is clean and the carpets are in good condition. The dashboard would benefit from a refresh.
The mechanicals run well, and will allow a trouble-free road return.
Before its arrival at the workshop, the tank had been replaced with a new one and the exhaust line also entirely new and stainless steel, of good quality. The radiator had been replaced a few years ago.
Then the following were done:
- 4 tires from Vredestein Sprint Oregon Classics
- engine oil change + oil service kit
- 4 spark plugs
- battery
- 5 spheres
- LHM fluid
- brake bleed
- water pump
- thermostat
- original alternator refurbished
The car is offered at €14, 000.
