Produced in the 1970s and 1980s by Austrian firm Steyr-Daimler-Puch A. G., the Maxi was a commuter moped popular for its reliability, ease of maintenance and fantastic 120mpg fuel economy
Powered by a 49cc single-cylinder, two-stroke engine available in 1, 1. 5 or 2bhp versions
Early versions required the rider to pedal to build up the momentum needed to start the 50cc two-stroke engine, later variants came equipped with a kick start mechanism
This later model has a kick-start mechanism with no pedalling required
The Ska Executive had mag wheels, different paint colours and decals
The bike has covered only 597 miles since new in 1987 and has not yet been presented for its first MOT
The bike is in original condition and is unrestored with some recommissioning required prior to use
