A Renault 4 GTL Clan 1108 cm3 34 CV din from August 1992 in this very rare condition. This vehicle has only 72700 certified km, with a very complete file of invoices enabling its history to be retraced perfectly. The penultimate owner and myself bought this vehicle to take part in sporting events which never materialised, hence the low mileage for over 10 years, and the fact that the vehicle has no further use, hence its being put up for sale.
Extensive refurbishment work was carried out, including the protection of the chassis and wheel arches with epoxy paint and anti-gravelling products, together with a complete repaint in its original colour, in white but with a varnish for added durability. All the sheet metal, crossmembers, engine protection, front and rear suspension arms, airbox, etc. were bead-blasted and then painted in black epoxy baked paint. The same treatment was applied to the rims and bumpers, with an off-white paint finish. The upholstery has been changed, both the foams and the covers. The floor mats are new. Mechanically, the brakes, discs, front pads, rear shoes and pistons are new. The water pump is new, as is the radiator with its fans. All the rubber pipes have been replaced with silicones. All the suspension and steering ball joints are new, as are all the silent-blocks and transmission bellows. On the electrical side, the alternator and starter are new, and a coil and 123 electronic ignition have been fitted and adjusted. All fluids, spark plugs, filters and belts are new. The 4 tyres are new Uniroyal 155 X 70 X 13 from November 2023. The lighting has been overhauled and works reliably, including the reversing and fog lights. An electric windscreen washer has been fitted, controlled directly by the windscreen wiper. A water thermometer has been fitted, but the installation can be reversed by refitting the available ashtray. The vehicle runs perfectly well, and the MOT makes no mention of this. The selling price is non-negotiable, and between the purchase in 2021 and its refurbishment, we are well above this value.
