The Mercedes-Benz SL 320 is part of the R129 generation, produced between 1989 and 2001, succeeding the R107. Conceived under the direction of designer Bruno Sacco, the R129 is distinguished by its clean lines and timeless aesthetics. Based on a shortened version of the W124 chassis, it incorporated major technological advances for its time.
