PLEASE READ THE AD! I bought this bike on 29 March last thinking I was buying an "old man's sports bike", being 64 years old. I had a general inspection carried out, an oil change with castrol, a change of tyres at a professional ( conti attack 2 new), change of the fairing spider which was broken following a small fall by the previous owner.
Last BMW invoice at 96738 kms major maintenance, all the invoices of a mechanical maintenance followed. logbook, CT of less than 6 months. I made a 1st exit of 48 kms + a ballade on 2 days of 600 kms. the motor bike functions perfectly There is a mechanical noise which I thought coming from the clutch. I took the bike to an independent mechanic, a former BMW motorbike mechanic, who told me that it was due to a worn chain tensioner, which needed changing, plus valve settings. The gearbox and clutch work perfectly, as does the engine, which has a clean sound. However, there is a noise, so we'll have to do something about it. Otherwise, after another 300 km weekend, everything responds perfectly, road holding and braking. ALL IS WELL. For my part I have a lot of trouble with the position. I have not yet done the CG, but it can be done. I bought the bike 1800 euros before changing the spider fairing that was broken + tyres that were worn. It's in good overall condition.
