The 1990 BMW K1 1000cc is an iconic piece of motorcycling history, born out of BMW's desire to redefine what was possible in the sports touring motorbike segment. Introduced at the end of the 1980s, the K1 was an audacious response to the limits imposed by regulations and growing Japanese competition. With its radical look and advanced aerodynamics, it was a motorbike that broke conventions and took on a pioneering role in the development of BMW's road bike technology.
