We are happy to announce another Iconic 80's motorcycle joining our current stock. Our Honda CX 500 is an original 1980 UK example that has had just 4 owners from new. Its last owner has owned the bike since 2015 and it is supplied with three keys, the original owners manual and a host of paperwork including numerous old MOT certificates & tax discs. The bike has covered 21, 181 miles from new but has sat within a collection of bikes since 2015 covering just 800 miles since then. The bike will receive a full recommissioning service and fresh MOT prior to sale.
The Honda CX500 was produced from 1978 to 1983, with the 1980 model falling right in the middle of its production run. It stood out for its unusual engine configuration, reliability, and touring capabilities.
Notable Features included, Shaft Drive for reduced maintenance and smoother performance, the longitudinal V-twin (bulletproof) engine with pushrod valves and liquid cooling. warmer climates or under heavy load. Quirky Design: The engine layout gave it a unique look, often compared to Moto Guzzi bikes.
