This is a classic driver's car, with both charm and real pedigree. Originally delivered in Italy, before arriving in Belgium around 10 years ago. According to the official Porsche certificate, this is a fully matching-numbers example - engine, gearbox and colour are all original. It is accompanied by an interesting history file, with documentation proving the chain of ownership since 1986. The car has undergone a previous restoration in Italy, with photos available in the file. Today, the Ossi Blue paintwork retains a beautiful sheen and presents very well overall, with a patina consistent with its age. Some earlier repairs are visible on the floor and rocker panels - work carried out by a well-known Belgian classic car specialist. These areas remain solid and presentable, although future care or cosmetic upgrading may be considered in the long term, particularly for an owner aiming for a concours-level finish. As it stands, this is an ideal car for spirited driving and weekend outings. Inside, the beige cabin is welcoming and well-preserved. The Recaro sports seats are not only rare, but also offer excellent support on the road. The carpets have been replaced and are in excellent condition. The rest of the interior exudes authenticity, with a slight patina that adds to the car's character without detracting from its overall quality. Mechanically, this 911E is in excellent condition. The original 2. 0L engine with matching numbers was completely rebuilt in 2020 and is completely dry. The mechanical fuel injection (MFI) system has also been restored and correctly calibrated. High-compression S pistons were fitted during the rebuild, providing a very pleasant extra thrust. The engine starts effortlessly, idles smoothly and delivers an engaging drive. The original gearbox has also been rebuilt, ensuring crisp, precise gear changes. The first 911s offer a unique driving experience - light, communicative and pure. Presented in one of the most seductive colours of the era - only 28 examples were delivered in this hue! - and benefiting from extensive recent mechanical work, this 911E is an excellent choice for someone looking for a well-maintained, everyday classic with the potential for future refinement if desired.
