Purchased by the vendor as an unregistered bike when he was a teenager, hence the registration date being 1993.
The bike is fitted with genuine Taylor Dow items and an alloy tank. The engine number is a bit of a mystery but there is no doubt it is a genuine BSA Gold Star unit but the engine number is not recognised. It is likely before the vendor acquired the bike, it was fitted with replacement crank cases, possibly made of Magnesium.
It rides very well but hasn't been used for sometime and will need recommissioning before use.
