We are very pleased to offer a very sexy 1998 Rover Mini MPi finished in gleaming Solar red with colour coded wheel arches and a stunning set of Superlite Minilite wheels with wider profile Yokohama tyres. Late model Minis were produced at the end of Mini production as a classy and subtle alternative to the Mini Cooper. They have always been popular and especially with half leather Balmoral check trim interior. Our example has only covered 21 thousand miles in 27 years and has had only 2 previous owners, the first lady cherished it until 2021. Registered new by Hartwell Rover in Banbury and accompanied with its original handbook, fully stamped service book previous V5s and also both sets of keys and fobs. It also has a service history folder pointing to a cared for life.
On the road this Mini drives very well indeed. The low mileage 1275 engine offers lots of free revving power and the gearbox is precise. This is a multi point injection Mini or MPi as they are known, they are always very popular as they offer all of the Classic Mini charm with a modern twist. Simply turn the key and go. Further features include a drivers airbag, side impact beams, an alarm and immobiliser and taller gearing making long distance cruise a breeze. The Mini has the feel of a very low mileage Mini that is hard to replicate and offers an excellent driving experience. Performance will certainly surprise as they easily keep up with modern traffic and will always make you smile on the open road.
The Mini has a wonderfully preserved interior. It is as it left the factory and still has a new feel. Half leather cream Balmoral check seats with matching door cards, red carpets and immaculate roof liner. It also has a full length walnut dash with Magnolia dials and an analogue clock. The original Rover cassette player is also present and correct. This model also features rear seat belts and a 12 volt adapter for charging devices.
This Mini has a very solid shell and still has all of its original panels. The floor pans are body coloured as are the inner arches. It has its original correct vented sills and solid subframes. The paintwork is very well presented and virtually blemish free and belies its 27 year vintage. This is a very good looking and understated Mini that is super rare especially in this condition and with such low mileage.
The Mini has been fully serviced, checked and driven and has a long no advisory MOT.
