Description
Star were neighbours to Sunbeam in Wolverhampton, building quality motor cars
until going into receivership in the early 1930s.
This 1924 12/ 25 has seen a meticulous 35 year restoration by vintage car enthusiast,
engineer, motoring historian and well known VSCC kingpin, John Warburton
Specially crafted body, aluminium over ash.
The 4 cylinder side valve engine was bored out to just under 2. 2 litres and is fitted with
the 4-speed gearbox from a Star 12/ 40.
The car has a VSCC 'Buff Form'.
She starts easily, runs well, with very good road manners and performance.
