The 1989 examples - like the one on offer here - are among the most sought-after. They are the only 930s to be fitted with the much sought-after G50 five-speed gearbox, which offers a far more enjoyable drive than the earlier four-speed versions. When Porsche announced the imminent arrival of the 964, all remaining Turbo models were sold out in record time, and this example was delivered new in Belgium on 26 April 1989. It was ordered with selected factory options, including an electric sunroof, draped leather seats, short shift gear lever and rear seat belts. The car has a clear and traceable ownership history, with only three owners since new. The second owner initially registered the car in his company's name before transferring it to his personal name. He kept it for another ten years before selling it to the current owner in 2015. Throughout its life, the car was maintained in the official Porsche network in Belgium.
