Beskrivning
In the mid-1970s, Porsche enjoyed a string of racing successes, most notably with the legendary Porsche 917. The latter had a turbocharged engine, and the brand decided to transfer this technology to its road cars. It was decided to find an heir to the sublime Porsche 2. 7 RS. The first version of the 911 Turbo saw the light of day in 1975, and it's fair to say that it was a great success. Porsche initially wanted to limit production, but in view of customer demand, decided to leave the choice of orders open. The 930 Turbo saw its engine improve, first in 3. 0l and then in 3. 3l (300hp) from 1977. The 930 Turbo will be replaced in 1989 by the 964 Turbo and in total, a little more than 20. 000 Porche 930 Turbo will be produced over 14 years of production. NYC's/ OXOTO offers for sale this beautiful example of Porsche 930 Turbo from 1986 in black, black leather interior with less than 187. 000 Kms on the odometer. Delivered new in Belgium near Liège, we have part of its traceability but unfortunately not everything. According to the information in our possession, it remained in Belgium in the 80s and early 2000s. In 2016, its penultimate owner, still Belgian, bought it before selling it in 2022 to its current owner (still Belgian). The latter has carried out a number of mechanical repairs in order to make the most of the car.
The bodywork looks good on the photos, but we consider it to be in average condition. In fact, ideally it should be completely repainted; stone chippings on the front, various scratches, surface corrosion (in the fuel filler flap and around the windscreen), etc. Our selling price obviously takes this point into account, which we would like to make clear from the outset.
The sunroof is functional and flawless. The interior is much better than the bodywork, with some wear and tear on the driver's seat and steering wheel, but the rest is really good: the other seats, headlining, dashboard, etc. are all there for the taking.
As far as the mechanics are concerned, we have some stamps in the logbook from the 80's, but nothing until 2022, when its current owner carried out major work (see a 2022 invoice for more than €20, 000!) at a recognised Porsche specialist.
We have a beautiful Porsche cover, the original owner's manual and service book, a spare wheel, a tool kit and the necessary documents for a possible export (including the COC).
A bridge is also available at our premises to show the underside of the vehicle.
