Description
A relatively complete and original example of the Indian-badged 250cc Fire Arrow, recently imported from the USA and now fully UK-registered with a V5C.
This bike is essentially a Royal Enfield 250 Clipper, rebadged and sold under the Indian name during the brief tie-up between the two companies in the 1950s. It’s fitted with numerous original period parts, including the rare optional dual seat. The petrol tank appears to have been restored, maintaining its classic styling.
Engine turns over freely
Dual seat fitted (factory optional)
Mostly complete machine
Will require a rear mudguard
Excellent candidate for a full restoration
V5C present – UK registered
These bikes are increasingly hard to find. An ideal project for an enthusiast looking to restore a unique piece of mid-century motorcycling history.
We would strongly recommend viewing before buying but please give us 24 hours notice as it is stored at a different location and we will need to bring it to our shop.
