The Turbo Cabriolet was the final iteration of the 944 platform, utilising the Turbo S 250bhp engine and cabriolet body built by ASC of Weinsberg Germany
Only produced for the UK and European markets and incredibly rare, 625 units were made with a mere 100 being produced in right-hand drive
This 1991 example is presented in Guards Red over grey leather with a black hood and it is evident from our images that this Porsche has lived a pampered life
The history folder details a full wheel refurb in 2015 and a cosmetic refresh to the front end in 2017
More recent expenditure includes a clutch kit and rear discs and pads in 2021 and a cambelt and balance belt replacement in 2025. Fresh fluids, including brake, transmission, gearbox and differential, at 95, 096 miles
The comprehensive history file contains, not only the usual historic MOT Certificates and Tax Discs, but a raft of well organised invoices and receipts with multiple pages of summaries displaying a remarkable level of care, and two sets of keys with period correct Clifford immobiliser fobs
Very sensibly guided considering its desirability, this is one to be admired by all Porsche fans. A much enjoyed example, it's clear to us that every effort has been made to keep this 944 Turbo Cabriolet mechanically and cosmetically in good order
