Its diamond frame and ultra-tight steering geometry (almost perpendicular turning radius) made it ideal for trials riding, while the inclusion of a seat and lights allowed it to be road-legal.
The TLR200 was part of Honda’s push into trials competition. It was:
- Designed to be ridden standing up, with a low center of gravity
- Equipped with drum brakes front and rear — simple, reliable, and lightweight
- Capable of serious off-road maneuvering, yet tame enough for urban commuting
- It competed in events like the Scottish Six Days Trial, where Kiyoteru Hattori won the 151cc–200cc class in 1983
-Not t be confused woth the lower specification, "Reflex", edition.

With imported vehicles we are not always able to confirm this by contacting previous owners therefore we are unable to completely verify the mileage recorded on the odometer and it must be considered incorrect in these cases.
