A rare opportunity to acquire one of the last left-hand-drive Series 1 E-Type Roadsters built before the transition to the Series 1. 5 in September 1967. Originally dispatched to Michigan, USA, this exceptional example was delivered new in Carmen Red over Black.
Discovered in New York and acquired by its current enthusiast owner in 2012, the car was imported to the UK in early 2013. Showing just 39, 000 miles on the odometer at the time (not verified), the E-Type was chosen as the perfect foundation for a comprehensive restoration. Undergoing a meticulous nut-and-bolt rebuild, it was sympathetically reimagined with both period charm and modern usability in mind.
Restored to a stunning standard in Old English White with a rich Red leather interior, the car was converted to right-hand-drive and has been enhanced with a desirable suite of performance upgrades, making it an outstanding "fast road" or grand touring E-Type.
