This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Iconic Motorcycle Sale at the NEC Classic Motor Show 2025 on Sunday the 9th of November, NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT.
Sunbeam were known for quality and were often referred to as the 'Rolls-Royce of motorcycles', until Brough started using the same strapline
Set up by John Marston, who previously was producing bicycles, and based in Wolverhampton from 1912 onwards
This Model 90 is presented in remarkably original condition and presents well
Fitted with an electric light kit and twin-float carburettor
4-speed hand-change gearbox with foot-change mechanism included
Same owner since the 1960s and still on its original registration number
Not used for the last 20 years, so will require some recommissioning before road use
Engine turns with good compression
Complete with a continuation RF60 logbook dated 1950 and an old V5
Small file with some reprint manuals, Sunbeam book and some old transfers
UK-registered on a current V5C
