Vehicle history:
This Volkswagen T1 Camper was built at the Volkswagen plant in Hanover. The panel van T1 was shipped new to the USA and there converted by the Sundial company into a camper vehicle. In 2001 the VW camper was sold to Ireland and in 2013 the vehicle returned to Germany. In the Hanover area the car was extensively restored to a very high standard by a specialist company during 2018-2019. In the pursuit of perfection costs and effort were not spared. The bodywork was beautifully restored, the interior completely renewed and all mechanical components overhauled. During the restoration the original 1600cc engine was optimised and now delivers around 80 HP. In line with that, technical upgrades were installed to match the additional power and speed potential. The steering gear was improved and replaced with a geared steering system. For additional braking power and safety, disc brakes were installed on the front axle. This T1 Bulli camper drives and handles perfectly and therefore offers much more driving fun! This vehicle has the charming appearance, the pep and the necessary safety improvements and immediately evokes sympathy in passersby. This unique vehicle features an extensive history file. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to buy an excellently restored / looking / driving Volkswagen T1 Camper.
