The Pure Triumph build-off bike refers to the custom-built entry from Pure Triumph Wellingborough, a finalist in the 2019 Triumph Bobber Build Off. Their build was a tribute to the legendary 1938 Triumph 5T Speed Twin, featuring a vibrant Lava Red color scheme and a modified seat and fender to replicate the classic design. This entry was one of the three finalists in the competition, which was ultimately won by Laguna Ashford Triumph's Speed Twin-inspired Drag Racer build. About the 2019 Triumph Bobber Build OffObjective: To showcase the versatility and personalization options of the Triumph Bonneville Bobber. Participants: 13 dealerships across the UK competed, combining off-the-shelf parts and custom engineering. Judging: A public vote narrowed down the entries to three finalists before a panel of experts made the final decision. Winner: Laguna Ashford Triumph's build, known as The Drag Racer, was declared the winner at the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride in London. The Pure Triumph Build Inspiration: The team at Pure Triumph Wellingborough was inspired by the original 1938 5T Speed Twin, recognizing the similarities between it and the Bonneville Bobber. Features:Color Scheme: A vibrant Lava Red, a more modern take on the original Amaranth Red of the 5T Speed Twin. Seat: A modified seat base with a pivot and springs for an authentic Speed Twin feel. Fenders: Extended front and rear fenders to match the Speed Twin's iconic style. Forks: Bespoke girder forks were added to complete the custom design.
