We are pleased to present for sale this unique Defender 130 Camper conversion. It is a 2006 model, the last of the line of the TD5 engine, considered by many as the best engine option for a Defender for its tunability. The Defender also features a complete Airlift air suspension system offering 3 heights and customisation for uneven ground.
The vehicle started life as a standard 130 double cab, it was brought to Foley Specialist Vehicles in the UK 8 years ago to undergo a camper conversion. The customer wanted a full 6’ + sleeping area in the rear, and thus the 130 gained a further 20” in length with the use of a complete 110 tub.
It features a pop-up Dormobile roof with 2 bunks and a full double bed below. It is possible to stand full height in the rear for changing etc.
The chassis and underpinnings are in in excellent original condition, and the TD5 engine was replaced 30k kms ago.
