1959 Austin-Healey 100-6 BN4 four-seat roadster with BJ8 engine. Up for sale is a 1959 Austin-Healey 100-6 BN4, a four-seat roadster that has been thoroughly renovated in recent years and fitted with several desirable upgrades. Purchased as a project in 2017, the car underwent a complete strip-down, metal repair, and respray in dark brown metallic in 2020. During this work, several panels were replaced, including the fenders, rocker panels, door panels, floorboards, and a support leg. An aluminum front bumper and an aluminum left rear bumper were also installed. The car is also equipped with a later-style BJ8 engine. The front features a later-style grille, red tow hooks, and running lights with Lucas covers. Additional exterior details include plexiglass windshields, a hood, dual exhaust pipes, and a single windshield washer with a glass reservoir. The car rides on 15-inch wire wheels with three-prong knockoffs and 19560 Achilles ATR Sport tires. It has a lowered suspension and drum brakes all around. The brake and wheel cylinders were reconditioned in 2018. The interior was reconditioned in 2021. The 22 seats were reupholstered in black leather by Rightway Heritage Trimming in Langford, British Columbia. Other interior materials were supplied by John Skinner Ltd. in the United Kingdom.
