This beautiful - and rare - Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider Veloce was registered in August 1960 by the first owner in the province of Venice, in the Bianco Farina color with black interior. After dreaming of it, the young thirty-five-year-old managed to buy it to enjoy until 1985 when it passed to the second and current owner.
The model belongs to the second series, therefore with the long wheelbase: among the improvements, the main ones are the soft top with simplified opening and closing (compared to the first series), in addition to the gearbox with Porsche synchronizers, in place of the previous Borg Warner.
The current owner, a great enthusiast and expert of Alfa Romeo, has carried out two restorations in over 40 years, bringing this model to a condition of efficiency and originality that are almost unique. Nothing is left to chance and maintenance has always been carried out regularly; the tires have recently been replaced.
The exterior color, interior combination and engine correspond to those of the original equipment; also present are the tool bag, the jack, the various booklets and - a very important accessory - the hard top. The original steering wheel will be supplied with the car, instead of the current wooden one that will be kept by the owner.

A few notes on the model: designed by Pininfarina, bringing back on a smaller scale the stylistic solutions and proportions of the Lancia Aurela B24 Spider, the Giulietta Spider Veloce (long wheelbase) was produced in less than 2000 units of which about half were destined for the US market; the Veloce stands out for its greater power of 90 hp thanks to the double Weber 40 DCO2 carburetors and the exhaust manifold in tube instead of cast. Externally, the differences compared to the normal one are the instrumentation (rev counter at 8000 and odometer at 220 km/ h), a larger air intake and a different oil pan.

Questa stupenda - e rara - Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider Veloce, venne immatricolata nell'agosto del 1960, da parte del primo proprietario della provincia di Venezia, nel colore Bianco Farina *** interni neri. Dopo averla sognata, il giovane trentacinquenne riuscì ad acquistarla per godersela fino al 1985 quando passò al secondo ed attuale proprietario.
L'esemplare appartiene alla seconda serie, passo allungato quindi: tra le migliorie, le principali sono la capote *** apertura e chiusura semplificata (rispetto alla prima serie), oltre al cambio *** i sincronizzatori Porsche, in luogo dei precedenti Borg Warner.
L'attuale proprietario, grande appassionato ed esperto di Alfa Romeo, in oltre 40 anni ha eseguito due restauri portando questo esemplare ad una condizione di efficienza ed originalità pressoché uniche. Nulla è lasciato al caso e la manutenzione è sempre stata eseguita *** regolarità; recentemente sono stati sostituiti gli pneumatici.
Il colore esterno, l'abbinamento interno ed il motore corrispondono a quelli di primo equipaggiamento; sono inoltre presenti la borsa attrezzi, il cric, i vari libretti e - accessorio molto importante - l'hard top. Il volante originale verrà fornito *** l'auto, al posto dell'attuale in legno che verrà conservato dal proprietario.

Qualche nota sul modello: disegnata da Pininfarina riportando in scala ridotta soluzioni stilistiche e proporzioni della Lancia Aurela B24 Spider, la Giulietta Spider Veloce (passo lungo) è stata prodotta in meno di 2000 esemplari di cui circa la metà fu destinata al mercato statunitense; la Veloce si differenzia per la maggiore potenza di 90 cv grazie ai doppi carburatori Weber 40 DCO2 ed al collettore di scarico in tubo invece che di fusione. Esteriormente, le differenze rispetto alla normale sono la strumentazione (contagiri a 8000 e contachilometri a 220 km/ h) un presa d’aria maggiorata ed una differente coppa dell’olio.
