Bodywork / Exterior:
The model presented here is a JAGUAR XK 8 4. 2L from May 2006 in its original color “Indigo Blue JJX” (matching color).
The bodywork and paint are in good condition, showing a deep shade and excellent shine.
After a professional polish by our workshop, we noted a varnish defect on the driver’s side roof panel and a few light parking dings on the driver’s door.
The bumpers are perfectly aligned and in good condition, with no cracks or impact marks, notably thanks to the front and rear parking aid option.
The windscreen shows light pitting.
The original 19’’ wheels with 10 spokes are in good condition despite some scuff marks on the outer edges.
The front tyres will be replaced with new ones ahead of delivery.
The rear tyres are PIRELLI PZero with 35% wear.
This example includes an interior storage cover.
Among the exterior options, we note: front and rear parking assist, Xenon headlights and their headlight wash jets, the rear spoiler with 3rd brake light integrated.
Interior:
The full leather interior remains in its original strict configuration.
Overall presentation is excellent.
The caramel leather upholstery, electrically adjustable, is in perfect condition.
Electrical adjustments allow seat position and lumbar support to be set.
The system is programmable and memory-enabled (3 positions).
We noted a light patina on the edge of the driver’s seat back bolster.
The dashboard and leather-soc type cap are in excellent condition, with no sagging, warping, discoloration, or scratches.
Same for the door panels.
The semi-precious wood trims are also in excellent condition, with no discolouration or cracks.
All instrument cluster and comfort equipment are fully functional, except for the cruise control/ speed limiter.
The leather-and-wood multifunction steering wheel with integrated controls and leather gear knob are in very good condition despite mild use patina.
Original beige carpets are protected by custom-fit overmats.
We noted a small tear on the driver’s door seal.
Among the interior options, we note: memory function electric seats with lumbar support adjustment, all-leather interior trim in “Caramel SEP”, semi-precious wood trim, colour touchscreen GPS with Europe mapping, automatic climate control, photosensitive central rearview mirror, and steering-wheel controls.
Chassis:
Lifting onto the hoist confirms an excellent shell with no visible accident marks and no apparent structural corrosion.
Fundamentals: floors, sills, long members and wheel arches are in excellent condition.
Usage reserve: by principle we cannot guarantee perfect alignment beyond their good visual and functional state validated on test drive and when on the hoist.
During dynamic testing, we found no abnormal noises from the body or suspension components (ball joints, bushings, etc.).
Braking is aligned, stable and firm, with no vibrations or unusual noises.
Front discs show 30% wear and rear discs 40% wear.
Rear brake pads show 40% wear.
Front brake pads will be renewed ahead of delivery.
The vehicle will undergo a technical inspection performed by our workshop prior to delivery to confirm overall functionality.
Engine / Transmission:
The original service book confirms regular visits to a JAGUAR dealer and marque specialists.
Mechanical condition is excellent, as confirmed by road test conducted by our workshop.
The 4. 2L V8 starts immediately, with no smoke or unusual noises and a steady idle, as confirmed by the 360° video with engine running available at the start of the slideshow.
Idle is steady and the engine does not overheat.
We noted a crack on the PVC engine cover.
The automatic gearbox shifts smoothly through all six gears, with no abnormal noises or slipping.
As is often the case with older engines, the engine/ gearbox/ axle seals are only average.
