De Fiat 500 Hybrid Dolce Vita It is the kind of car you choose not only with your head, but also a little bit with your heart. As soon as you see it, you immediately understand why so many people fall for that round, friendly design that has been giving a nod to classic Italian city life for years. The name “Dolce Vita” literally means “the good life”, and that is exactly what this version tries to radiate.
Step inside and you notice that Fiat has turned a small city car into something special. The interior feels light and inviting, with beautiful fabrics and luxurious finishes, especially in this Dolce Vita version. Beautiful extras such as chrome details and a glass roof immediately catch the eye, making the interior feel almost Italian sunny, even on a grey Dutch morning. Everything revolves less around pure performance and more around atmosphere, simplicity, and the joy of everyday driving.
Under the hood lies a 999 cc 3-cylinder hybrid petrol engine. A very economical engine (consumption of just 1:19, 6), with which the Fiat 500 also delivers great performance and drives just as smoothly through narrow streets as it does at home on the motorway. Due to its dimensions, it is easy to find a parking spot where larger cars have long since given up. Meanwhile, the modern engine is very fuel-efficient. It feels completely at home in the city and on shorter distances. The hybrid system quietly assists with acceleration and makes driving just that little bit smoother and more economical.
On the highway, you notice that it is built primarily for relaxed drives and not for rushing. Performance is perfectly adequate in modern traffic, and the car is comfortable even with multiple occupants. The trunk space isn't particularly large—which is logical—but the rear seats can be quickly folded down in split sections to create a very spacious room. What makes this Dolce Vita version attractive is that it adds luxury to something small and practical. It feels charming, stylish, and personal. As a result, many people see it not just as transportation, but as a car with character.
** LUCK IN THE GAME**
This Fiat 500 Hybrid Dolce Vita was delivered in Germany on February 23, 2022, to an owner who had won it in a casino. She apparently had luck in the game, as she had previously been able to take home a car and a motorcycle. She was, who wouldn't be, charmed by the little Italian and thought it would be a nice addition to the large German car she already had parked on the ground floor of the apartment complex, which she considered a cumbersome car for city driving. Consequently, the Fiat was driven for a few years, but not for long distances. Hence the super low mileage of only 2586 km. The Fiat is therefore essentially still completely new. Naturally, the car has had its maintenance, despite the low mileage.
The beautiful “mouse grey” colour called Grigio looks great on this bodywork, especially in combination with the cream/ black interior. Together with nice options such as the glass roof, alloy wheels, leather steering wheel, etc., it gives the car a stunning appearance. Modern features like CarPlay are naturally present, as is excellent air conditioning. In fact, you want for nothing in this Fiat 500 Hybrid Dolce Vita.
We are personal, because it is a perfect reincarnation of the classic Fiat 500, and we are naturally classic car enthusiasts, big fans of this 500, and would love to keep it. But alas, we don't have the work for it. That is why we are happy to pass this Dolce Vita on to another enthusiast.
