Exterior / Body:
The model shown here is an MG B GT with Overdrive from October 1967 in its period-black color.
The body is presented in good condition with a uniform tone and excellent gloss.
After professional polishing with a rotary machine by our workshop, we noted a scratch on the summit of the right front wing, a paint defect under the windscreen on the passenger side and paint defects on the contour of the right rear wing.
The windscreen, side windows and rear window show micro-scratches.
The chrome bumpers and overriders are properly positioned and in good condition.
We noted a small dent on the right front overrider and a dent on the central rear bumper.
The chrome trim and decorative fittings are complete and in good condition.
We noted small dings on the door sashes.
The four 14” chromed wire wheels and their chromed knock-ons are in good condition, with some impact marks.
The FALKEN tires show 30% wear front and rear.
This example retains its original spare wheel, jack and hammer.

The faux leather upholstery in black with red piping is in perfect condition.

All carpets in black are in very good condition, with no stains or tears. They are protected by MG PVC floor mats.
This car is fitted with front 3-point belts with retractors.

Chassis:
Lifting onto the ramp confirms a solid shell with no visible structural corrosion.
Foundations: sills, wing bottoms, wheel arches, floor pans and longitudinals are in good condition.
During dynamic test drive, no abnormal rattles were detected in the body or suspension components (ball joints, bushings, etc.).
Braking is balanced, with no vibrations or unusual noises.
Front brake discs and pads show 40% wear.
Rear drums are fully functional with no signs of seepage.
A pre-delivery technical inspection will confirm overall functioning.
Engine / Transmission:
The mechanics run smoothly.
Compression checks and a road test performed by our workshop confirm a healthy engine block.
The 4-cylinder starts immediately, with no smoke or unusual noises, and idle is stable, as shown in the 360° video with engine running, available at the start of the slideshow.
When driving, the engine revs cleanly without snags or overheating.
Oil pressure measured cold by our workshop is 90 psi at 1000 rpm.
Mechanical reliability is reinforced by an added oil cooler and an additional electric fan.
All four gears engage smoothly, including the synchros.
Clutch grip is good.
This car is equipped with a sought-after option: Overdrive.
It functions perfectly and provides hydraulic/ gearing reduction for 3rd and 4th gears.
