All our vehicles undergo rigorous checks before being put up for sale: over 70 checkpoints are assessed (mechanics, chassis, bodywork, interior and accessories), plus a full road test carried out by our workshop manager.
Each vehicle also undergoes an engine compression test and/ or a cold oil pressure check (where technically feasible).
Our vehicles are prepared in our workshop, which specialises in classic, sports and luxury cars.

Bodywork / Exterior:
The model shown here is a MORGAN V6 3. 0 Roadster from October 2011 in its original ‘Lush Green’ colour (matching colour).
The aluminium bodywork is in excellent condition.
Following a professional orbital polish carried out by our workshop, we noted a few minor scratches and very slight stone chips on the front end.
The original bumpers are in excellent condition and perfectly aligned.
The original ‘Gren’-coloured faux-leather soft top is in perfect original condition, with no signs of wear or stretching.
It is easy to fit and remains as watertight as when new.
This example also features a ‘Green’-coloured imitation leather tonneau cover.
The side screens and the ‘Green’-coloured mohair storage cover are also in perfect condition. This car is fitted with a badge holder and a chrome luggage rack. The fog lights are non-functional.
The four 16-inch chrome-spoked wheels and the MORGAN knock-off wheels are in excellent condition, with no signs of impact, scratches or deformation.
The four DUNLOP tyres show 5 per cent wear at the front and rear.
This car is fitted with a fifth chrome-spoked wheel (spare wheel option).

Interior:
The ‘Muirhead Burnt Orange’ leather interior has retained its original layout and is in excellent condition.
All the leather trim matching the upholstery is in excellent condition.
This example also features the optional ‘MORGAN’ embossing on the headrests.
The burl walnut dashboard shows no cracks or chips in the varnish.
The headliner and the centre console, both in ‘Muirhead Burnt Orange’ leather, are in perfect condition.
All the MORGAN on-board instrumentation, as well as the original clock, are fully functional.
This example is fitted with a stainless steel lighting switch.
The three-spoke wooden steering wheel and its MORGAN aluminium hub are in good condition.
The aluminium gear knob shows very slight signs of wear.
The ‘Muirhead Burnt Orange’ leather gear lever gaiter is in excellent condition.
The original ‘Green’ carpets with ‘Muirhead Burnt Orange’ piping are in perfect condition.

Chassis:
Lifting the car onto the hoist confirms that the aluminium body and ladder-frame chassis are in perfect condition, with no visible signs of accident damage or apparent structural corrosion.
The fundamentals: the underbody, lower wing panels, floor panels, wheel arches, ladder-frame chassis and side members are in very good condition.
The ‘wooden’ floor panels are also in very good condition, with no cracks, delamination or signs of insect damage.
Standard disclaimer: as a matter of principle, we cannot guarantee perfect alignment beyond the vehicle’s good visual and functional condition, as verified during the road test and lift inspection.
During the dynamic test, we detected no abnormal noises from the bodywork or running gear (ball joints, silent blocks, etc.).
The braking system is properly aligned, stable and complies with the standards of the era.
The front discs show 5% wear and the brake pads 10% wear.
The rear drums are fully functional and show no signs of fluid leakage.
The MOT test carried out by our workshop prior to delivery of the vehicle will also confirm that everything is in good working order.
Engine / Transmission:
The original engine is a 2967 cc FORD V6 with electronic fuel injection and chain-driven timing.
The engine starts immediately, with no smoke or unusual noises, and the idle is steady, as confirmed by the 360° video filmed whilst the engine is running, available at the start of the slideshow.
The oil pressure measured by our workshop when the engine is cold is 5 bar at 1, 500 rpm.
When driving, the engine revs smoothly without any jerking or overheating.
The engine’s reliability is enhanced by the inclusion of an oil cooler.
The sound of this car’s Ford V6 is enhanced by a stainless steel exhaust system.
The five gears of the manual gearbox shift up and down easily and smoothly, particularly where the synchros are concerned.
The clutch has good bite.
This car is fitted with a battery cut-off switch.
As is often the case with this model, the seal between the engine and gearbox is only average.
