This famous car was built as a replica of the 1967 Alpine Rally winning Cooper S LRX827E by the same man who rebuilt LRX (Garry Corpe) using the same parts.
This is the nearest thing you will get to a genuine ex works car. This car has been successfully campaigned by Peter Barker and the incredible Willy Cave over many years including numerous Monte Carlo Historiques.
1293cc Austin Cooper S engine, Weber 45DCOE carburetor on Bryan Slark inlet manifold, MED cylinder head 12g940 Casting, LCD exhaust manifold, Maniflow center exit exhaust system, 90 BHP at 6000 RPM.
Straight cut 4 synchro BMC gearset with Salisbury LSD.
Bespoke BMC works wiring loom with electrical accessories to period specification as per 1967 works cars.
Original specification works dash with Halda Twinmaster.
