Volkeswagon Jeta c Diesel for sale. Owned by our family since 1987 and dry stored since 1995 we have decided we should pass this on to someone who would give it the attention it deserves. Removed from barn two weeks ago, battery fitted and it started 2nd turn of the key! No smoke or visible oil leaks. Looks good and solid with no major rust issues but needs restoring. Interior needs refurb (seats are worn) but all there and in reasonable condition.
Bad points that I know of, can't open passenger doors (I am sure this is easily fixable)and rear brakes are slightly ceased, (we might be able to release these.
No tax or MOT, have old style V5 registration document.
I am not a mecanhnic and have tried to be as honest as possible. You are welcome to come and see for yourself. Located in north Suffolk. Would like to see the car go to someone who could restore what would be a good, solid and economical classic to use.
Please save this from the scrap man.
