Black with Green interior. Mot & Tax. The car was registered in 1959, but I have been told that it was probably manufactured in June/ July 1958. The speedometer shows 31, 000 miles and I have 20 MOT's going back to 1974 when the mileage was 18, 938. The body work is in good condition and the underside has been wax-oiled at some point in the past. The brakes are fine, having had a recent overhaul and the tyres have plenty of tread with no cracks. It has a 1500 cc B series engine, single carburettor with a stainless steel exhaust. The oil pressure shows over 50lbs even when hot. The interior is very nice but the seats could do with some slight attention as there is one small hole the size of a five pence piece and some stitching has come away, but no rips or tears though. The woodwork looks original with no cracks or marks and all the instruments work, yes, even the clock. The carpet has recently been replaced. The headlining is in good condition but has coloured with age. This may be able to be cleaned, but doesn’t look out of place as it is. Some attention needs to be given to the front windscreen rubber as it is lifting around some of its edge. It looks like it has been replaced at some point but has not settled. There are only about 100 of these left now.
