For sale our beloved T2 VW Campervan affectionately called "Vera".
Vera is a Pistachio Green & White 1979 RHD walk through camper. We have had many enjoyable holidays all over the UK in Vera since we bought her in 2009.
Vera is used as my daily driver and is very reliable solid camper. MOT'd until end of June 2013
Let me tell you a little bit more about Vera:
Stock height.
1641cc engne - put in by previous owner.
New pop top added in 2010 - Vera was originally a tin top.
New full width Rock 'n' Roll bed - with 4" mattress (very comfortable). Basically 2 double beds ( 1 bed in the pop top).
2 rear 3 point seat belts.
2 buddy seats with underneath storage and rear lap belts.
Vera does not have a cooker, sink or fridge we prefer not to cook in the camper. And never have done.
New battery fitted in 2011.
Saab 95 front seats.
EMPI gear shifter.
Alpine stereo with Ipod connection.
240 volt electric hook up.
Just Kampers drive away awning and EHU cable included.
Stored daily in the garage.
Solid base, regular waxoyl of the underneath and chassis of the camper.
Agreed valuation with insurance company for £12, 000.
As with all campers of a certain age, there are some areas that require attention:
Slight bubbling on both rear lower quarters.
Since we have had Vera she has been reguarily serviced (twice a year) by Volkskraft of Lincoln. Most recently serviced in February 2013.
