1948 Guy Vixen with meadows 4 cylinder OHV petrol engine.
The vehicle has had in depth nut and bolt restoration. Starting with the vehicle being fully dismantled and sandblasted, new king pins and shackle pins, springs rebuilt with new top leafs, new brake cylinders and master cylinder, new brake shoes, all new wheel nuts.
Engine rebuild new valves and springs re white metalled bearings new clutch and pressure plate. The cab is new with original doors, new mudguards. All chrome been re chromed, correct CAV lights, new cab glass, seats re upholstered, new fuel tank and auto vac, all tyres have lots of tread and are all matching, all the wheels are matching. New mudguards for the rear and comes with lots of spares.
The vehicle has only done about 100 miles since it was restored back in 1995.
There is no body for her, and were built as a cattle wagon from new and lived in the Preston area.
It is classed as a 4 toner todays equivalent to a 7. 5 tonne. The vehicle is on a SORN.
