My VAUXHALL OMEGA ELITE Estate
3. 0 Ltr V6 AUTOMATIC
Reg March 1998 on Private Plate valued around £700
and included in the sale.
Car comes with new MoT due 12 December 2014
and currently SORN but I can tax the car for you.
Mileage is 94, 000 with no history.
I have the green slip off the V5 - currently awaiting the new one but will sell with green slip/ bill of sale
Having been stood for a year I bought the car to break
But after 3 small welds on the sills/ seatbelt mounts
and a brake pipe cleaned up and greased - it passed MoT!
Couple of advisories were NSR tyre close to legal limit,
headlights deteriorated but light output not reduced
and brake pads were down to 1. 5mm
As a result, all brake pads renewed
And two part worn tyres with 5-6mm tread to go with the car
Headlights have been polished up with cutting compound and Auto Glym
Also advised on oil leak which is from
Rocker cover gaskets.
Not serious but does leave couple of drops on road overnight and a common fault on these cars.
An excellent smooth driver
Powered by the Vauxhall 2962cc engine kicking out a whopping 211bhp.
The car drives very very well.
Quick off the mark with excellent pick up
With the 211 bhp 24 valve engine giving smooth efficient acceleration at all times.
4 speed auto box in full working order with
No faults or unevenness in its operation.
Exhaust is also in very good clean condition with no leaks or rattles
Car comes with full ELITE spec which includes full black leather interior
Cruise Control which works fine.
Electric everything all working including seat memory
Climate control with Air Con which needs a re-gas for ice cold air
but the compressor is working fine.
16 inch Alloys
and the list goes on!
The leather interior is in very condition throughout reflecting the mileage.
Very firm and comfortable with good bolsters all round
And very little wear on drivers seat bolster,
No sagging or drooping to one side.
Door cards all good and carpets in very good condition
just had a wipe and hoover to remove a few minor stains and marks and freshen them up.
Headlining is also okay with no sagging and just a couple of marks but no tears or damage
The instrument panel is all okay and in good order
giving correct readings as required.
All the backlights are now in full working order and
all the warning lights illuminate on start up and go off accordingly.
On the centre facia the fan speed indicator bulb has blown
but the fan works fine on all speeds.
The Omega has a JVC face-off Radio/ CD player installed
Fully working and remembers radio channels etc
but really requires the correct BOSE radio/ cassette header
so the cd changer can be used as well.
This is in the back of the car but not currently connected
because of the JVC unit fitted.
The bodywork is average with a number of areas of surface rust and blebs
I've shown the worst in the photos which include rear arches, lower door panels
and some small blebs on top of the doors below the window seal.
If you want the bodywork perfect then the car needs a trip to the bodyshop.
I've gone round and flaked off the worst and touched up the areas
with the correct Satin Red touch up paint which I got from Vauxhall.
Suprisingly the front of the car is very clean!
Bumpers aren't scuffed and front wings are unmarked.
The bonnet has been resprayed at some point and while it has
come up to a reasonable shine with a good T Cut & polish
it is a bit flat and could have been done better
but it is still presentable and polishes up okay
but again if perfection is sought it would need a bodyshop visit.
Electrics okay as said and warning lights all okay - come on at start and go off
again once running so all okay there.
The headlights are all good now the lenses have been T Cut and polished.
Headlights are nice and bright and could be improved on even more
with a set of 100% brighter bulbs.
Wheels are a lovely clean set of Vauxhall 16 inch Alloys
with two very good SUNNY tyres on the front with 7mm tread
and MICHELINS on the back around 2-3mm but as said
two Accelera Alpha tyres to go with the car.
They are 225/ 55/ 16 Speed Rated 95V
Brakes in full working order stopping the car in a
straight line with no juddering or uneven breaking.
Handbrake works okay as well and has been adjusted
when the new pads were fitted.
Inside the boot is as it should be - all in order
with inflated hardly used 15 inch steelie spare with jack, wheel brace etc all present and correct
Storage area is very spacious and nice and clean and
undamaged and with the back seats folded down
The load area is truly cavernous and the tonneau cover also works okay.
There are 2 remote fobs and 2 keys all working correctly
operating the remote central locking and ignition etc
All the locks work on the remote fob
So there you have it!
A superb practical spacious family car or excellent load lugger or cruiser
MoT for a year and I can tax the car for you.
Easy to drive with good visibility.
A really superb driver, very quiet and smooth and very quick when needed.
I've driven about 100 miles in it and it's lovely!
Good spec and superb efficiency and realiability

it will have to be subject to my availability as I am a shift worker,
but it can be arranged and it would be my pleasure to deliver this car anywhere!
I'm also happy to deliver the car to a ferry port or terminal if travelling from outside UK.
I ask £1 per mile one way for delivery
then make my own way back.
