For sale my much loved and now very rare white Mk1 Astra GTE, there are only 11 left according to DVLA. This car has been dry stored since September 1999, therefor it does not have a current MOT or TAX, it was last mot'd on the 14th May 1999, with all mots going back to 1993 showing a mileage of 58026. This car has only had covered 63729 miles and is supplied with full service history and a folder full of receipts. The car has only just been taken our of long term storage and as such has small amount of work required to get it back on the road legally. It requires the rear exhaust box to be refitted and welded a new battery and the brakes are very stiff. The interior is unmarked and the front seats have not sunk which is a sign of the low mileage this car has covered. The body work is A1 condition fitted with original tailgate spoiler and GTE graphics. The only noticable problem is with the rear tailgate as there is a very small amount of rust in one corner otherwise there is no rust anywhere else that I know of. The engine runs and ticks over and purrs like new. It was rolling road tuned on the 5/ 01/ 95 showing 124BHP at 5720 rpm, it is fiited with a mocal oil cooler and adjustable fuel valve. The car is fitted with Spax adjustable shocks and front strutt brace bar. The wheels are unmarked (compomotive 7J x 15) and tyres (Yokohama 195/ 50R15) have only covered a few miles since they were fitted on the 27th March 1996 with the original wheels and tyres also avaible. Braided brake hoses are fitted all round along with brembo front cross drilled vented disc's. The underneath has been fitted with full sump guard and rear tank guard. There is a removable kenwood stereo fitted but the original stereo is also available. This is a fantastic opportunity to purchase what is becomming a very rare 1980's classic. The car has been treated very well and never thrashed with very little mileage in wet condition.
