Bought in May 1997 by my father when he followed the trials. Previous owner had had the engine overhauled, new crank pin, piston rings/ rebore, and gearbox bearings. He hasn't used/ ridden it since purchase, just took clutch cover off, then ill health and other projects took over. It's stood in the garage ever since!!
Found CMT310 service manual + confirmation letter from manufacturer (Armstrong at Blackburn) that it left their factory in August 1982 - therefore it is a Mark 2 CMT 310 (introduced in April 1982)
Only 300 Mark 1 and 2 CMT310s were manufactured, but I found spares readily available online. Would like to keep it, but decided haven't the time to get it running myself.
