This 1947 Maudslay Mogul mark two is a very uncommon and rare oppotunity to buy an interesting piece of our British transport history - in the livery of Chivers & Sons Ltd. The Orchard Factory Histon Cambridge, one of only a handful left in existence that is still running and driving on the road - its is exempt from road tax and M. O. T.
It is fitted with the original Wooden type cab clad with alluminium.
It is driven by an AEC 7. 7 diesel engine and starts and runs well with a satisfying sound.
Has its original maintenance manual, instruction book and an advertising leaflet, spare parts catalogue. service bulletin for the AEC engine.
Brakes have been relined, new gearbox bearings fitted, injector and lift pumpserviced and water pump reground.
