Unfortunately selling my pride and joy to make room for something more modern (partners orders).
I've owned this car for 4 years now and have loved every minute of it. I had plenty of work done to the car even though it had previously been fully restored. I have pictures available on request of the previous restoration.
I opted for the Cal look so fitted an adjustable front beam and lowered the rear by two splines. I have also endeavored to add pre 64 styling to it with the addition of sloping front wings, W decklid, wide chrome trim and I have even swapped the drums and wheels to the older 5 stud pattern in order to fit the more desirable domed hubs.
The engine runs perfectly and never misses a beat as it was reconditioned during its resto. The interior is in fantastic condition and includes a hidden away cd player in the glove box so you can listen to music without taking anything away from the classic aesthetics.
There are a number of spots that need to be addressed on the paint work now which i would love to do myself but i simply don't have the time to invest in it.
This is a fantastic car for someone who wants to get their first beetle, or perhaps wants a Very easy project to do. It really would only need stripping and painting to be immaculate again.
Viewings are more than welcome but please no time wasters. I've been as honest as possible with he photographs so there are no surprises to be had when you see it.
It's a lovely car and i would love to see it go to someone that will love it as much as i have.
Please don't hesitate to contact me for any more pictures and details on the car.
All work carried out on the car has been done by Dan at Buswerx in Martlesham, Suffolk who knows everything there is to know about VW's so it has all been done to a very high standard.
