1990 Minardi M190
The Minardi M190 was the 1990 F1 Minardi car designed by Aldo Costa; he is an Italian engineer and now he is the Engineering Director of the Mercedes-Benz F1 team. Costa was born in Parma. After school, he continued studying and graduated from the famous University of Bologna in mechanical engineering. His job at Minardi was his first in his F1 career. He started in 1988 as the chief designer and became the technical director in 1989 after Giacomo Caliri, ex-technical director of the team, left. Costa joined the Scuderia-Ferrari in 1995 and in 1998 became assistant to the team’s Chief Designer, Rory Bryne. When Byrne announced his intention to retire in 2004, Costa was named as his successor. Byrne credited the design of the 2005 Ferrari to Costa. The other father of the M190 was Tomasso Carletti
The car was built by Minardi for the 1990 F1 season. The car was powered by the Cosworth DFR V8 engine and ran on Pirelli tires
It debuted at the 1990 San Marino Grand Prix

Paolo Barilla was replaced by
Gianni Morbidelli the last two races of the year.
The M190 did not score any points for the Constructor’s Championship. Its best result was Martini’s 8th place at the Japan Grand Prix in Suzuka
