Very rare Kawasaki Z750L4 1984 'B' reg with 12 months MOT
These bikes are becoming very collectable and are starting to appreciate in value. The L4 model was based on the 1983 GPz750R1, but minus the handlebar fairing and clip-on handlebars.
This bike is in good original condition, apart from the Motad 4-1 exhaust.
It has just had 2 x brand new tyres fitted, and has just passed its MOT (29/ 10/ 15).
When I purchased it, it hadn't been ridden for a couple of years. I have carried out the following work to re-commission it:
2 x New tyres
New battery
New spark plugs
Oil and filter change
New air filter
New front brake pads
Replacement rear brake calliper
New brake fluid and both brakes bled
Carburettors stripped, cleaned and balanced
It starts on the button and rides really well. It is not immaculate and there are a few minor marks on the fuel tank and a few small areas of surface rust on the frame (as you would expect of an unrestored bike of 31 years old!).
Ready to ride - ideal winter hack, or rolling restoration project. Very cheap to insure and powerful enough for modern roads (125 mph top speed, 12. 4 standing 1/ 4 mile and 78bhp).
