This is a very rare model. It is an original white UK car (so no insurance worries like the import), and being a 1997 car, it is one of the last mk1’s to come off the production line. Further to this it has only covered 80, 000 miles from new! So this is a fantastic opportunity to grab a genuine appreciating classic, that will only rise in value.

This Mazda has been garaged for the last 10 years by a few very meticulous enthusiast owners who maintained the car in great condition.
The original 1600cc engine is in very good condition. It holds good oil pressure, doesn't rattle or misfire and really does pull exactly as it should.
The gearbox, clutch and suspension are working perfectly, if you have never driven an MX5 it is a real treat- they handle very well on the road- extremely great fun to drive!
The bodywork can be described as very reasonable. The white paintwork, bumpers and other external features are very bright and it looks fantastic coming down the road.
The underside of the vehicle is in very straight condition. The MOT tester was very impressed with the structural condition of the car.
The cockpit is a very pleasant place to be, no nasty trim and can be described in good original condition.
Wheels, tyres and hood are all superb.
Regularly serviced and well maintained.
POINTS TO MENTION:
As the car is now 20 years old the bodywork is not in ‘showroom condition’. There are a few very minor blemishes on the paintwork. These areas include some minor bubbling in a few isolated areas such as the very rear edge of the lower panel- which can be addressed without too much grief. No nasty rust or structural damage- just being picky.
SUMMARY :
This is a very tidy, honest example of a Mazda MX5 MK1, that is ready to drive away and enjoy. This will be a great investment for someone as they will only appreciate in value. Please don't come an expect a mint condition example. This is advertised as a good tidy example that is ready to drive away.
