1975 NORTON COMMANDO MK3 850 ELECTRIC START ROADSTER.
This bike is 100% ready to ride and enjoy.
Full engine rebuild including:
• New PW3 camshaft (acknowledged as the best for road use)
• Stronger crack-tested conrods.
• New Amal Concentric Mk1 Premium twin carbs.
• New Superblend main bearings.
• New 4-brush electric starter motor, and gel battery.
Engine now spins easily.
• New sprag clutch set.
• Boyer Electronic Ignition.
Also:
• Brakes completely overhauled. Front master cylinder upgraded by RGM. Braided front brake pipe, wheel cylinders fully serviced. So now it stops, even in the rain!
• Front forks overhauled, and new rear chain fitted
• New exhaust pipes and silencers.
Matching Frame and Engine numbers.
The Mk 3 has the advantage that the gear change is on the left, being the same as all modern bikes. So if you are used to riding a modern bike this is a real safety feature.

This was an import from the USA, with the benefit that there is no corrosion.
The bike has covered only 300 miles since the rebuild. The MOT is until April 2018.
I am selling the bike very reluctantly for health reasons.
