A rare opportunity to own a genuine ex Morris Minor Police Car with fully working siren, light and the original PYE radio still fitted.
Morris Minor 1000 registered on the 1st April 1971 with "Receiver for the Metropolitan Police District, New Scotland Yard" stamped on the original log book.
The car still has its original PYE radio fitted, fully working siren and is a head turner on most streets.
This was a Sector Sergeants car when in service.
Great for weddings, proms and car shows as she certainly stands out from the crowds.
The car has featured on ITV's Heartbeat several times, although with a different registration plate, and The Grimleys.
She was fully rebuilt in 2009 by Charles Ware with panels replaced, not bodged. A reconditioned engine was also fitted and a new exhaust. A full repaint was also carried out along with new tyres all round.
She won best Panda Car at the Morris Minors Owners Club Rally in 2015.
She wants for nothing mechanically or structurally just wants a new home.
