Hi.
I am looking to sell a truly great example of classic Audi Coupe. Car is in amazing condition and has so much about it to tell, that i will try to break it down in sections.
so its a B3 Chassis Audi Coupe
- Comes with arguably best engine fitted - 2. 3 10v 5 Cylinder ( im sure you all remember that sound from olden days )
- It has had same owner since 1993
- Genuine low mileage at 51. 000miles!
- Rare Bamboo Metallic Colour ( same colour as UR Quattros used to use ), not the typical Zermac silver
- Car has always been garaged since 1993
- Matching OEM Alloys ( all 5 )
Car wasnt used for last 2 years due to illness and old age, and even before that its main purpose was shopping runs and post office.
I have gone to most finicky MOT station in region and it sailed straight through with lots of praises from MOT tester.
It had a few advisories that all has been addressed.
Not to take any chances and to make sure car is spot in it just had following carried out:
- Full inspection
- New fuel filter
- Coolant system flush
- Oil service
- Various small bits and bobs
- One mirror had a glass that had a hairline crack in it, so that got replaced with used OEM unit.
I was advised about rear brake pipes having a bit of corrosion on them, but also advised that they are not bad and should last at least a 3-4 years before they would need replacing, just worth to keep an eye on them.
Exterior of car is in great condition, not only for 27 year old car, but in great condition - full stop.
Interior is near enough immaculate, with hardly any wear and tear
Engine is nice and dry with no leaks. However, having said that i suspect that rocker cover gasket might need replacing in near future as it seems a bit old and it slowly starts to weep just the tiniest amount of oil in one for the corners.
Also in sale will be included:
-Rocker Cover Gasket kit
-Timing Belt Kit
-Panel Filter
As you probably know - it would make sense to do them on the same go, and while doing it you are not far off from changing timing belt either. If i will have some time over the weekend i may change them all, if not they will come with the car. Its not a big job on these, as this car still is from time, when it all was relatively simple :)
Car has been local to Ipswich all its life and has been serviced at Audi.
Obviously it has all the usual bits, such as:
- Power Steering
- Electric Windows
- Central Locking
- Sports Seats
- Fog Lights
- VDO Gauges
and all the rest of usual stuff. ( I assume that if you are looking at one, you know what to expect anyways :) )

I may be interested in part exchange with cash either way, but im not too sure what i fancy, so no harm in offering, as long as its not French or Vauxhall.
